Launched as in 2010, Back Bay Journal took a multi-year hiatus in 2017 as publisher Jennifer Olmstead completed The Stray, Earthbound Creatures, and From Afar Volumes II, III and IV of the Virginia Southern Point Collection of contemporary fiction. Stay tuned this summer as the Journal resumes regular publication and added features.
About the Publisher
Jennifer Olmstead is the publisher of Back Bay Jornal and the author of the Virginia Southern Point Collection of contemporary fiction. After attending The Pittsburgh Academy, Chatham College and the University of Pittsburgh, she relocated to Virginia and began a career as a non-profit executive. In addition to her fiction writing projects, she continues to work in the non-profit field. She lives with her horses, dogs and other family members on a farm in rural southernmost Virginia.
